Wow! These days there are so many news about the lovely and sexy Japanese idol Amano Ai!! Her new DVD called "Nudie Limit" will be released on 25th september and it looks like a bomb!!! Super sexy!!!
Of course I already pre-ordered a copy!

Today I bought the latest issue of Famitsu and found the interview to my old friend Amano Ai!! Congratulations!! She is a really cool photographer and gravure idol!!

For a couple of weeks Lisa Katayama will be the guest blogger for Boing Boing. She writes about technology, human rights and Japanese culture for magazines like Wired, Make and PopSci and she runs the totemo omoshiroi blog TokyoMango. Amano Ai (photo gallery here,  here and here), after working at Tokyo Motor Show, is now partecipating at Osaka Motor show as  Race Queen for Exedy (a Japanese company considered the world leader of performance sports and racing clutches that was a technical sponsor of the Fast and Furious 3: Tokyo Drift movie)
I just found this new video with Ai chan from the Japanese TV show Hyper Race Queen on Sky Perfect TV.  Actually there are 4 videos: video 1, video 2 and video 3 (the quality is not perfect but still watchable). Ai chan is kawaii and super sexy!!

I just found the very first trailer of Amano Ai (official blog) first Tokusatsu movie:  Metal Princess Kyuo (メタルプリンセス キュオ). The director of this new "super heroine" master piece is Takauji Motoharu from the legendary Shin Iizawa's Zen Pictures. Cos-More has posted a super kawaii photo gallery of "the Movie Making of " and here you can download the Trailer (Windows Media Video format).
This DVD can be preordered from Play Asia and many other online retailers.


Tokusatsu (特撮, Tokusats) is a Japanese word that literally means "special effects." The term is a contraction of the Japanese phrase "tokushu satsuei" (meaning "special photography") and It is primarily used to refer to live-action Japanese movies and television dramas that make use of special effects. Metal Princess Kyuo DVD will be released on 23th November and I really look foward to watch Ai chan fighting to save our Planet!

Ai chan has posted many super kawaii photos of her working at Tokyo Motor Show as companion for the legendary japanese brand Excedy.  The show will close next sunday so if you are in Tokyo this could be a good chance to meet her! If you can't you can watch her in this new video we spotted on You tube.

Our idol tomodachi Amano Ai (photo gallery here,  here and here) is the main Race Queen of Exedy (a japanese company considered the world leader of performance sports and racing clutches that was also a  technical sponsor of the Fast and Furious 3: Tokyo Drift movie). You can meet her at Exedy booth at the 40th Tokyo Motor Show booth...  This weekend she will be at the 6th round of GT Super Taikyu series race (at Sportsland Sugo race course in Miyagi prefecture in northerast of Japan) but if you are going to this race don't forget your race queen umbrella since Sendai is very rainy!

This is our friend Amano Ai new otaku column published by the legendary japanese gravure idol magazine Beppin School!  The column is dedicated to figures, dolls and garage kits. Ai chan will run this column for the next months and first part appeared in the october issue.

Exciter Magazine featured one page deciated to Amano Ai DVD and Julie art photos.
There are other magazines and newspaper who coeverd the event but I can't find out all the names... damn, I should study more kanji!
Anyway I'm pretty impressed by Ai Chan because she is getting a lot of coverage without the support of a big media company. I think her really cool artworks  are helping being noticed by magazine editors and journalists.

We had  a great time attending, with the legendary Danny Choo, the Amano AI DVD  release events held in Akihabara last saturday (tomorrow I will post more photos)!
Ai chan DVD is on sale on Play Asia: the first orders will be shipped with a free second cover sleeve signed by Aichan!! And the order placed before 30th september  will automatically join a Lucky Draw to win one out of five exclusive Amano Ai photographs.
